writing with light - go to homepage

Written with Light is a creative research project by David Harradine (artistic director, Fevered Sleep), exploring the connections between photography, light and performance.

It is a partnership with the University of Winchester, with funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council. Lasting for three years from autumn 2005, the project will lead to a range of new works in performance, installation and writing.

On this website you can keep up to date with the work, read about the creative process, and join my mailing list. Follow the links below

What's happening:

"Brilliant", Fevered Sleep's new touring performance piece for 3-4 year old children, which I designed and directed, is now on tour. Go to Fevered Sleep's website www.feveredsleep.co.uk for all tour venues and dates.

In three weeks we go to Brighton to make "An Infinite Line", the first in a series of site-specific projects that are responses to natural light in particular places.

"An Infinite Line: Brighton" is an installation of cine films, a cross-artform performance piece, and a book. Commissioned by Brighton Festival, it goes public on the 2nd May. See Fevered Sleep's or Brighton Festival's websites for details.
