November 2011

I'm filming for Its the Skin Youre Living In, a project about climate change that I've been developing through a residency at the University of Brighton. Locations wise, we've been far, far north to Svalbard, home of the polar bear, with a dancer all furred up and pretending to be one, then to the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, up the M11 motorway, on a farm in Bedfordshire, in a factory in Wandsworth and we'll be winding up in a flat in Hackney next week. The project's being produced by Fevered Sleep and will be going public early in 2012.

With Fevered Sleep I'm also right in the middle of making a short film about ageing, Seven Portraits, with seven performers aged from 7 to 83.

Invisible Things, the book about devising that I've made in collaboration with dramaturg Synne Behrndt and book designers Valle Walkley is now available to buy online.

I've also just written a contribution for the Ashden Trust collection of metaphors for sustainability, which will be going online soon. Check that out to find out why I like to have dirty fingernails...

Come back soon to find out more, or join my mailing list to be kept up to date with what's coming up. There's plenty of other stuff on the Fevered Sleep website, and you can follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

Bye for now!
